Located at in various buildings on the Salem Hospital campus. To register, please call the Community Health Education Center at 503-814-CHEC (2432). There is no cost for these services.

 

Caregiver Support Group

Support and information for those caring for a loved one with cancer.
2nd Thursday, 4 p.m.

Cancer Support Group

For people living with cancer and those who support them.

Head & Neck Cancer Support Group

Support and information for anyone facing a head or neck cancer.
3rd Tuesday, 6 p.m.

Women’s Metastatic Support Group

Focusing on the special concerns of women whose cancer has spread.
1st & 3rd Wednesday, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Prostate Cancer Support Group

Helpful information and support for those dealing with prostate cancer. Spouses are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Knit Well

A unique way to cope with the stress of cancer and other life obstacles. Knowing how to knit is not required – we’ll teach you! Please bring your knitting needles and yarn.

Starting Chemotherapy

An opportunity to ask questions and learn what to expect before starting treatment.

Exercise Class

Yoga
A free class for people living with cancer. The instructor will guide you through gentle yoga poses intended to help you stretch and relax. You will never be asked to do more than is comfortable for you. Please bring your yoga mat and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
